Where Ideas Come to Life

I'm deeply passionate about seeing projects through every step of the way. Whether defining the starting point or bringing it across the finish line, I thrive in every phase. Below, you'll find a collection of diverse projects, each reflecting my varied roles and hands-on involvement.

Goaltron - A web-based Goal tracking app

Training Videos and Modules

Brainstem - The beginnings of an ABA Therapy mobile app

Goaltron is a custom app designed to enhance field execution by providing an interactive scoreboard for team members to monitor lag and lead measures. Due to the urgent need for the app, we executed multiple releases within a matter of weeks, progressively incorporating features like team commitments, user disablement, and lead measure comments.

  • My significant role in this project extended to both UX design and product management. I collaborated with stakeholders and engineers to transform abstract ideas into functional designs. Leading meetings to refine project goals and working collaboratively with another designer, we ensured a comprehensive approach to design.

  • Working with a company lacking its own tech services posed unique challenges. Designing a visually-focused app without a defined design system, we utilized the marketing design guide and defined UI components on the fly. This flexibility allowed for experimentation with various looks for the app.

  • Today, with over 800 daily users, Goaltron has significantly improved efficiency on the floor of nine different Family Entertainment centers, increasing from 72% to 75% and aiming for 80% by July. Moreover, the app serves as the scoreboard for the company's weekly manager meetings, proactively addressing issues before they escalate.

Employee Training Modules & Videos

As the Training Content Manager for a family entertainment center, I spearhead the creation of engaging online training modules by collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs). These modules seamlessly blend informative videos breaking down processes with reinforcing text and images, ensuring comprehension among team members.

  • My role in this process begins with close collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand existing procedures thoroughly. Together with managers, I refine these processes to ensure clarity and effectiveness. I meticulously document these refined processes, translating them into comprehensive video scripts complete with shot descriptions and voiceovers. Taking the lead on film shoots and collaborating closely with our video editor, I bring the scripts to life. Subsequently, I leverage these videos to create interactive modules enriched with elements such as flashcards, sorting activities, and quizzes, further enhancing the learning experience for our team members.

  • One of the significant challenges in my role involves crafting training materials for processes that may vary across locations. To tackle this, I collaborate closely with managers and stakeholders, conducting tests and refining processes to ensure consistency across the board.

In addition, as a young company, there's a pressing need for comprehensive training, which necessitates effective prioritization. To address this, my team and I developed a streamlined training request flow for departments. This innovative system allows departments to define their training needs, estimate the number of individuals affected, and specify the time available for collaboration and vetting. Through this process, we ensure that training efforts are focused and tailored to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

  • Throughout the past year, I've spearheaded the development of over 30 online training sessions, addressing a wide array of topics essential for our team's success. From emergency protocols to navigating challenging conversations and facilitating bowling reservations, these resources have become indispensable tools for our 800+ employees, empowering them to thrive in their respective roles.

Here is a list of a few of my most recent training modules and videos completed.

    • Phone Etiquette

    • Radio Etiquette

    • Common Arcade Parts - Advanced

    • Closing Reports

    • Online Bowling Reservations

  • In this project, I serve as the sole UX designer. This entails conducting user research, gathering data through surveys and interviews, and designing user flows as well as mobile/web interfaces. Additionally, I am responsible for developing the design system for the company, encompassing a type system, components, and logos.

  • One of the main challenges in this project revolves around the technical complexities of the healthcare domain. Understanding the intricacies, such as behavior plan formatting and HIPAA compliance, required extensive research and interviews before the app development phase.

  • Currently under development, this app allows us to witness ongoing results as we progress through the project.
